Want to listen to articles on your iPod?

Now you can.

Two of the Library’s databases now give you the option to listen to articles instead of reading them.  You can even download them as MP3 files to take them with you for listening on the go!

It’s easy.  First you search or browse for articles through the Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center or WilsonWeb. Then you click on an article that you like.

In Opposing Viewpoints, you will see options right away to listen to the article or download it.  In WilsonWeb, you first need to click on “Translate Full Text” and then “Listen.”

We will keep you posted as more of our databases add this new way of accessing information.

Yes, that’s right.  The NWTC Library is on Facebook.

Actually, we’ve been there are a while now.  Stop by and write on our wall. Or better yet, sign up to be one of our fans.

Research time – Need some help with those papers?

“Help!  I need to find information on my topic but I don’t know where to go!”

That is where the Library Staff comes in.  We are information science professionals and can help you find what you are looking for (even when you are not exactly sure what that is).

Give us a call, chat with us online, shoot us an email, or stop by and ask us in person.

We will help you get those sources you need and will show you how to find the good ones that your instructor wants you to use (since they frown about citing wikipedia as your primary source of information).

Good luck with the writing!  We will be waiting to hear from you if you need us.
